I currently have almost 1200 games played on PC and about 250 played on XBone. While I will attest to everything that has been said prior about the play of the game, I would like to add a few things. I have played mostly in parties on xbox live and about half on PC. I have noticed that friends with not as good PC's seem to get a sort of game/network lag more often when we are in skype or any other voice app and have to turn graphics down while running skype, and with the Xbox I have noticed that I tend to get more lag in games when I am in a group or party as opposed to PC which never drops and if it does, a simple router/modem 30 second power cycle seems to do the trick. My PC runs on i5 4670k OC at 4.2 ghz, 24 gb RAM @ 2133, Asus 87-A, and GTX 770 so it would really have to put a major strain on my system to push it below 60 FPS. Another thing I have noticed, is while the lag is relatively similar for everyone in the game, it does seem to have different effects on people at different times and it really throws of the flow of games when people who normally never miss are missing 4/10 times they attack the ball and it throws teammates positioning off. It feels like half the games are about who can overcome the lag and not get caught at the worse time. Also, I have been playing almost specifically ranked on both systems since the release on Xbone and my ping very rarely goes into the yellow, but that can probably be that I am in Central and my connection is really server dependent and that through patterns, I can almost certainly say that it shows no relation to my ping and I have yet to have a teammate disconnect due to network issues and very rarely have a teammate not make it into the game. I have played all of the cars on Xbox in season and live and I noticed that I had 0 problems with the game when playing with bots but did about 60% of the games which is about how often I have noticeable lag on the Xbox. I also did not notice any difference based on cars with lag issues either. There have been a lot of weird ball deflections in xbox that I have never seen before either, so I don't know if that is something different either. Almost all of them show something different in relation to where people were on my screen and in the replay. I play very soft and do a lot of watching the other players and always paying attention, so I doubt it's due to my lack of awareness either as the glitches or pops are consistent. The biggest thing I have noticed is when this is going on is that everyone's hit box is somewhere between half a length to a full length of the car ahead of them in live play but on replay it isn't and every now and then I will be going for a ball reading a player to hit it and it seems that their hits are about a half a second sooner than PC and I have to adjust my timing for blocks and interference's on disrupting solid shots. Though I do not play both systems on the same monitor, it would be possible to do it and both of my monitors are approximately 6 ft from each other in the same room so I have a pretty close comparison when looking at them running at the same time. The biggest difference I feel is that on PC you can make adjustments to your graphics to reduce the lag, but on xbox there is no sure way of adjusting. Something I have noticed on Xbox in comparison to PC is that everything seems to be running brighter and with more reflections on the ball or walls and making the turf a lot brighter. I hope all of this information provided can some how help you guys with your optimization and if you have any more questions I'll be glad to answer. Everything I have stated is just my observation and not necessarily a fact, just more information to maybe find the fix. Another thing I have noticed is by changing FOV it reduces some "lag" but obviously throws off depth perception still making it hard.
