Shogun's Series 2: The 1 v 1 challenge

Postby SHOGUN-CAL on Sun Jun 27, 2010 3:22 pm

Sorry about this moderators. I still stand by my claim this is not a 1 v 1 tourny. This is the last challenge of the qualifying stage. The rules are incredibly simple. You must play each person still in your leaderboards group (viewtopic.php?f=16&t=4957) in a best of three 1 v 1 match. The rules are as followed:
Only when there is a draw (both players won 1 match), you have to play a 3th match.
You must both host 1 game each, unless one players host is really bad (use common sence for chosing the host)
In match 1 the host of that match chooses the map.
Match 2 the other person choose the map.
If match 3 is required than that is played as a random map.
Winning your match gives you 2 points for each person you beat.
You get 1 point for just playing one f your matches so its worth playing.
Please post results on this thread not the P.O.A.T or the Leaderboards theads.

Mods if you could sticky this ill be forever grateful.
Any questions?

i see i only got 4 points..
but couldn't receive points in first challenge, cos we only had 3 people so couldn't play 2v2..
now i can't become #1

and how many points can you get for this challenge>

So gbm, cirdec and eye shield would all host the possible 3rd game against me?

in logical terms that would be the best idea.

I really dislike 1v1s, not my strong point at all, all about the host and ko if the players are roughly equal. There's been too much of it in my opinion, I thought this tourny was supposed to be about fun different challenges, its just been 1v1, 2v2 and team so far.

Well I'm probably out so good luck everyone.

This is just the beginning you know...i'm 100% sure shogun has other things arranged that will be different to just 1v1 and 2v2. Just be patient.

It's pretty much only Luke and I competing in our team. No one else in our group gives a shit and is never online.

name something else I can do with 64 players that only ever complain and dont play their matches. I HAVE to keep it simple at the moment. Trust me the attacking chalenge and Free For All are on the cards for round 2.
