Seems like a useful idea, for a change.

But, surely for an assist to happen, a goal must happen. Therefore rendering the assist option useless.

Goals and saves would be a good idea, though.

Psyonix have said that this isn't possible with the way that the game runs unfortunately (unless you're talking about for SARPBC 2). As it stands the game only remembers the past 30 seconds or something along those lines, so the replays for the goals just aren't there anymore. The host stores the entire match as a replay, then at the end they send it to the other players. I'll try and find the thread with this discussion in it later.
